Intellectual Toffee

We are each rushing to create something new and call it our own. Some have a knack for seeming originality, others are being driven by the seeming single-minded pursuit of plagiarism and there are some who just do not know the difference.

Where are we heading really? What impels us? Are we not same in our realization that forward movement is not a choice? When do we answer the question of our need to create?

We all know that it’s not a dream of up heaving the masses we are striving for. We deceive our kid selves with delusions of childish grandeur to light a momentary pang of ingenuity before it explodes to leave behind a long-awaited, much-appreciated, over-rated ‘idea’ that just as quickly departs, as a fog of anticipation slowly rises and we begin gratifying the kid with a toffee of intellectual satisfaction.
